From the print dialogue box , Print what: choose the Handouts option. From Handouts: Slides per page, choose up to 9 slides per page. There is the option to display these horizontal or vertically on the page. If the 3 slides per page option is chosen the slides appear vertically with blank lines for notes shown next to each slide.
