Q. Is it possible for me, an Oxford undergraduate, to come and use the Brynmor Jones library for research?
I am in my third year studying History at Oxford and am doing my thesis on the Expanding Commonwealth Group. I understand that the papers of Patrick Wall are useful for this. Is it possible to organise a visit to the archive?
The University Library is not a public institution, and its primary purpose is to serve its own staff and students by providing the literature and the information which they require. However, the Library is a member of a reciprocal access scheme called Sconul which provide limited access rights for staff and students of other higher education institutions, you can find more information at http://www2.hull.ac.uk/Choose-Hull/Study-at-Hull/Library/visitors/index.aspx#SCONUL
